Summer Camp
We had an amazing Summer this year!
With over 50 kids and 13 camp counselors, we created fun and amazing memories for everyone this summer break!

Here at Mar Vista Family Center, we have created a safe environment for our children to develop social skills, build self-confidence and create many new experiences. During summer camp, our kids met up every weekday to join in all the fun; from painting to dancing, to playing sports, games, and many field trips!
Field Trips
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit the Ballona Wetlands and the Bolsa Chica Wetlands with the support of Ballona Wetlands Land Trust.
Visits also included the Getty Villa, LACMA, the California Science Center, the Museum of Tolerance, bike rides, nature walks and many more!
We also would like to give a special thanks to Lani Monos for the wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes at Sony Pictures Studio. We have created such cherishable memories this summer!
Surfing & Sailing
We seas the day this summer in the beautiful seaside community of Marina del Rey.
Thanks to the Boys and Girls Club of San Gabriel Valley! Jr Dzubak and Tracy Thompson organized an adventurous day of sailing for MVFC youth, most of whom had no experience with water sports or the ocean.
In continuing the Clark brother’s tradition, Owen Clark and Morgan Richards provided a thrilling experience of catching waves this summer. Thank you for another amazing surf camp!
After School Program
Our after-school program is back at Mar Vista Family Center offering a variety of after-school activities including tutoring, STEM, arts & crafts, Folklorico, soccer club, college prep, bike club, gardening, music, manners club, reading club, leadership groups, community service, and many more!
Join us for a fun, educational school year!
We also offer programs for adults including our cooking class, Knitting class, Zumba, Fitness class, Folklorico class, Parent & Me Folklorico.
