Thank you to all our sponsors who stepped up this holiday season and created wonderful memories for our MVFC families. Holiday Parties
Santa Claus came to town this holiday season and gifted our students a party filled with laughter & fun!
Thank you to Sony Studios for once again hosting our preschool party and to our By Youth for Youth leaders for hosting our community kids party.
Also a big thank you to our volunteers from Playa Venice Optimist Club and the National Charity League.
The kids enjoyed many fun activities, presents, and a surprise visit from Santa! Special thanks to Bank of America and LAPD Pacific Division for donating toys for our kids. We mingled & jingled all the way this holiday season!
Posada Celebration
This past December, we hosted our annual “Posada Navideña,” a religious tradition that reenacts the search of Mary and Joseph finding shelter as they traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem before Christ was born.
Our community gathered for this special moment and celebrated with champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate), arroz con leche (rice milk drink), pan dulce (sweet bread), and folkloric dance.
Special thanks to our parents from MVFC’s cooking class for the champurrado and arroz con leche.
