Meet Our Community Heroes

Beto has been a part of MVFC since his Baby and Me Day’s and now is member of By Youth for Youth. His favorite part of being a Youth is giving back by volunteering for community events and selling snacks with BYFY Cafe to raise funds for the Youth Programs. He is passionate about mentoring younger members of the community about the benefits of joining sports for personal growth and leadership development.

February Highlights
Thank You Westside Food Bank!

We are so grateful to the Westside Food Bank for their continued partnership in helping us feed families in need. Through their generous support, we have been able to continue to provide essential food resources to our community.
This has been crucial in helping our community members who were affected by the Palisades fires. Through our pantry program, we have been able to ensure that no family goes hungry. Thank you for standing with us in making a difference!
BYFY Cafe’s Successful Valentine’s Day Fundraiser
A big shout-out to BYFY Cafe for hosting a wonderful Valentine’s Day fundraiser movie night featuring ‘La La Land!’ Our Youth created a photo booth, sold snacks and created a loving environment to celebrate friendship amongst their peers. This event was a great success, bringing our community together for an evening of fun while raising funds to support our Youth programs. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this cause!
Our First Community Clean-Up of 2025!

Our first community clean up was hosted on Saturday, February 22nd! We’re so thankful to our community members and preschool parents who joined us and helped us continue to keep our community clean. We’d like to acknowledge our LMU and UCLA Student Volunteers who came out to help our community! It was truly heartwarming seeing our members and friends of MVFC come together in community.
Thank you all we look forward to the next clean-up!
